“What if you couldn’t marry the person you love?”
I saw this as I was turning off the TV last night, and was intrigued enough to wait until what I thought was a commercial ended.
This is from Let California Ring, one of the groups who support gay marriage. Ohio’s terrifyingly popular decision to ban gay marriage was one of the main reasons I was happy to leave. This is a human rights issue. If you’re a Californian, vote no on Proposition 8.

I also was caught off gaurd when this commercial came on, I was drawn in immedietly but felt so sick when I realized what it was representing. I was disgusted that something so beautiful as marriage, was brought down to such a sinful level. Homosexuals are lost sinners, as us all, who need the grace of God to open their eyes and save them from the depravity of their own hearts! May God continue to bless the USA even though we’ve fallen so far away from him!

Certainly we could all do with more eye-opening grace in our lives, and certainly our own misguided hearts lead us into many a dreadful pickle. For people to turn on each other, though, doesn’t sound like the way to redemption. Thanks for posting this beautiful video, Ardenstone.

Re: Lou
….How can anyone be so arrogant and cruel? Not everyone shares your twisted religious views, including other Christians, and trying to force your views on everyone else is insane. Whom other people fall in love with is none of your business.

Dear Leah,
I by no means “forced” my opinion. I just stated something that I have a legal right to do. You’re crying out for “rights” through all this. Then, for goodness sakes,
give us them! Freedom of speech is something I will always take liberty of. And I have every right to voice my opinion.

i agree 100% with Lou. “homosextuals” are just lost in the sin. who needs Gods grace.
Leah: what is said. is not “arrogant or cruel” you put this up here. for “everyone” to voice their opinion. and i have every right to say what i know is right.

ARDENSTONE. For the love of Pete, let us talk of something else. I can send you some frivolous information about Estelle Getty or Eric Schweig if you like.

For lack of respect, Lou and some others, must be the most ignorant bitches of this planet. You want to say love thy neighbor as yourself, but yet you criticize and say “how dare they be homosexuals.” Well you know one thing? There will always be homosexuals and less of those believing in God. Actually a good reaosn why I left my Catholic faith. I’m not going to have religion testify my place in life. If God did not want homosexuality he wouldn’t have allowed it to be done. It’s people such as yourselves who make religion so distasteful and looked down upon. Maybe once you can all learn to accept and open your hearts and minds this world wont be so bad. So until then, take your Bible and shove it far up your holy asses.
