This teapot was a class assignment. It is hand built with a different texture on each side. I created the texture with found objects and texture stamps. (This flower design was created with a texture stamp someone else made by carving the design into clay and firing it. I have since enjoyed making and using my own texture stamps.) After bisque firing I applied black iron oxide stain and wiped away most of it to emphasize the texture. Then I dipped it in forest green glaze, and it was fired again.
