Christy is using some of these flowers as a model to carve into the vase she's making. I took a few photos for reference later and kind of liked this one. They just look so joyous. Fun to have someone who sells these on the sidewalk a 15 minute walk away.
You can also note our Southern California wall-toaster in the background. Everyone has these same gas heaters stuck to the wall in a room or three throughout the house. The ones in this apartment actually work which is nice because all the windows mean it can get chilly fast.
