On some nights (this was a Friday) the Font Màgica at the base of Montjuїc is lit up with different colors and the water rises, falls and waves to mostly classical music which can be heard throughout the surrounding plaza. It's something very much worth catching, even if it is a bit hokey. Performances in early July were starting at 9:30pm, begin every half hour and last 15-20 minutes.
