So an ex-girlfriend gave me a copy of Simon Singh's THE CODE BOOK for our anniversary (same anniversary where she gave me Ardenstone.com, incidently. Do you think I'm a geek?). I've decided to make a tool to help with decryption as well as allowing me to learn more PHP.

Here is DeCryptoQuip, a program that can help in those newspaper cryptoquips (is that the right name?). You simply enter a replacement encoded message, like you might find near the comics in the newspaper, and then start guessing. This is fairly easy to do on pencil and paper, but a lot easier with a little computer help.

Adding on to DeCryptoHelp is CryptoQuip, which will encode a random message, and then let you try and figure it out! The list of messages is just a big file with all of them stored in unencrypted format. If you want to, you can even Add Your Own Message to the CryptoQuip message list!
