Hey, Mister Too Busy Working To Drink (so sad!): I discovered tonight that Famous Grouse, while not good to drink a half-bottle of on its own, is very good for making Rob Roys. It just has a nice mild flavor. Of course, I was out of bitters, which may affect things.

Did you have one, Chris? How did you like it? We're excited to be checking out the bars in our new neighborhood, although I don't think any are in cool old churches. Blast!

I'm drinking one made with Dewar's right now. This is a fascinating blend of sweet & smoky/salty. Like dipping your chipotle fries in your chocolate shake, although I've never done that.

If this isn't a reason to drink, I'm not sure what is. I suppose one should keep a designated driver around in case of evacuation. Someone would have to put all these cats in their carriers!

I am excited to try this out.
