Normally I'd have caught them at Little Brothers (at least once) and debated going down to see them at the Taft. Alas, they're not scheduled to play in San Diego anytime soon. He makes his own holiday decorations for the house! Who needs outfits? (Now go have a buckeye.) Anyway, I've never had a Vesper but did have a similar cocktail at a restaurant once. I have had too many today, and intend on having more before bed. The Bond story was fun, although the guy is a total ass. Have you ever actually had a vesper? I made one a few years ago, when I had a bottle of white Lillet hanging around. I don't recall liking the vesper, but that was many moons ago. Lillet is one of those ingredients I always think I should pick up again, as it's in a surprising number of drinks.
